BOOK/MUSIC/LYRICS - Carly Campbell

Carly Campbell is an educator, mental health advocate, occupational therapist, musical theater writer & composer, and a silly goose. Since the day she started talking, Carly has been writing and singing songs and skits in backyards, kitchens, coffee shops, and occasionally on public transportation. As a child, Carly watched the 10th Anniversary Concert version of Les Mis with her sister at least 100 times, and it completely shaped her personality. That and Mariah Carey. Carly is a community-builder and a change-maker, and is also known to be an instigator of a healthy debate. She believes in other worlds, and in the possibility of making them real.

Caitlin has interned with The Wooster Group and designed and taught arts and social justice-oriented curricula for educational institutions across the United States, Spain, and China. She currently works as the managing director of The Motor Company NYC and an artistic director with Brooklyn's DreamStreet Theatre Company. She seeks out original work that centers community, the unpredictable, rigorous physicality, exposed plumbing, risk-taking, and raucous play. www.caitlinjwells.com
