What's the show about?

—------------------ is a fantastical dark musical comedy about a young woman jostled between the worlds inside her head, psychiatric institutions, and her queer Southern community.

What's the deal?

This show has been in development since 2023, with workshops and a recent student production at Meredith College. We’re now gearing up for a brand-spankin’ new full production this summer in Durham!

Logistics

-Rehearsals Sunday-Thursday evenings, mid-June through mid-August

-Shows Aug 13-30, with the possibility of extending thru Sept 9

-In Durham, at The Fruit

-$500 performer stipend

Audition Instructions

We’ll be doing a first round of video submissions along with a Google Form, due March 11.

From there, we’ll reach out to invite a crew of performers to join us in a workshop April 11, where we’ll be singing, working on scenes, doing a bit of choreography, and playing with devising prompts with members of the creative team and current cast.
